Granma accumulates 108 patients infected with the new coronavirus

The province of Granma accumulates 108 patients confirmed with the new coronavirus in the new normality stage, after confirming on Monday 13 positive Covid-19 cases.

This was announced at the meeting with provincial directors, where Dr. Rosmel Vidal Lominchar, Deputy Director of Hygiene and Epidemiology explained that 848 international travelers and 22 foreigners in rental houses are kept under surveillance.

At the meeting, Federico Hernández, First Secretary of the Party in Granma called to increase the work of community groups along with family doctors and nurses´offices to prevent travelers from violating isolation and breaching established protocols.

The meeting also analyzed the behavior of the criminal actions and called for increasing the control and compliance of the worker and administrative guards in the final days of the year to protect state resources.

Likewise, the violations of the price regulations and the measures applied to those who fall into those events were assessed.

In this regard, Héctor Cordero, Provincial Director of Comprehensive Inspection and Supervision detailed.

Related to this issue, Federico Hernández, the highest political leader of Granma, called for a complaint and immediate action in the face of the detection of violations. as the best way to confront those who commit such indiscipline.

At the end of the meeting with the businessmen, political and governmental leaders and of the several organizations, where the directors of the municipalities participated by videoconference, Hernández Hernández called to embellish the centers with Cuban and July 26th flags and banners that express patriotism to welcome the new anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

He also pointed out to pay attention to the cleaning of the streets, the collection of solid waste and the restoration of the roads.

Also, he explained the organization of the activities for the end of the year in Bayamo and called on the municipalities to organize them in each area in compliance with the distancing measures to avoid contagion with Covid-19.

The leader alerted the managers of the aqueduct, the electricity, communications, communal and transportation enterprises to seek alternatives to offer those services with the quality that the people deserve and keeping with the current circumstances.
