Temporary Working Group indicates to apply disciplinary measures to non-compliance with health protocols

The Temporary Working Group of Granma to confront Covid 19 spoke out for imposing greater discipline and sanctioning from the legal point of view, people who fail to comply with the protocols established by health to prevent the spread of the epidemic.

The meeting chaired by Federico Hernández, first Secretary of the Party in Granma and Yanetsy Terry Gutiérrez, vice governor, assessed the complexity of the territory, which currently adds 78 confirmed cases in the new normal stage, one only positive in the day, from Buey Arriba, close contact of a confirmed traveler case.

Granma’s high political leader pointed out that there are legal rules for those who break isolation protocols for both travelers and families, who do not comply with the established measures pending the results of the PCR test.

Dr. Rosmel Vidal Lominchar, director of the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology, detailed the territorial situation.

Yanetsy Terry Gutiérrez, vice provincial governor, warned that measures must be adopted in the houses to maintain isolation and prevent many more people from getting sick, due to not meeting these requirements, and reiterated that the measures are to be fulfilled by both families, as travelers.

The meeting of the Temporary Working Group also addressed the confrontation with crime in the Granma territory, in this regard increase the robbery with force and crimes against livestock in the last day.

Therefore, it was insisted that each of the territories strengthen revolutionary vigilance and confront crime from the community with all factors.

Regarding the confrontation with the raise of prices, the First Secretary of the Party in Granma Federico Hernández warned that prices are law and that whoever violates the policy is illegal.

He stressed that in the confrontation with the raise and abusive prices, the fight requires popular support and the timely complaint by the population of these illegalities.
