Russia reported 204,623 patients have recovered from the SARS CoV-2 coronavirus, responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic, out of a total of 441,108 positive cases, for a recovery rate of 46.3 percent.
In the past 24 hours, 8,831 people were reported to have been infected, very close to the 8,666 patients reported recoveries in that same period of time, while 169 died, bringing the national death toll to 1.2 percent.
Of the overall number of cases detected in one day, 3,374, or 38.2 percent, were asymptomatic.
Moscow reported 64 deaths for a total of 2,749; St. Petersburg, 24; Moscow province, 29; Nizhegorod province, 6; Tver province and Perm Krai, 4, and 3 Stavropol and Rostov provinces.
In one day, 3,061 patients left Moscow’s hospitals, and it now totals 94,365 recoveries.
Thus, this city has almost twice as many recoveries as new positive cases, with 1,998 detected, for a total of 187,352.
