The workers of the Bayamo radio provincial station carried out on Monday a democratic exercise to take charge in effective way in the popular consultation on the Draft Constitution of the Republic.

Conducted by the duo consists of the Master in Sciences Alcides Antúnez Sánchez and the young girl low student Anabel Zamora Rodríguez, the exchange was held, where modification, deletion and addition of terms and paragraphs with the aim of enriching the draft constitution prevailed.

The journalist Manuel Lauredo started the exchange deepening on the essence of our Magna Carta and the citizen responsibility to contribute to its implementation.

In regard to the first chapters of the document there were opinions by the journalists Leipzig del Carmen, Maricela Presa and Rafael Traba, on the main principles of the nation.

Here the attendees supported the concept in the preamble on the construction of the socialist society and the leading role of the Cuba´s Communist Party that abridges more than 100 years of struggle, epic resistance and unity of our people.
Other opinions were focused on the State structure, and about the limit age of 60 to the President and Vice President of the Republic, as well as in the need to define the age of the end of childhood for several legal procedures, voting, driving license, among others.

Also issues related to the territorial organization of the state and the designation of the provincial governor and the time of mandate of the President of the country were debated.

Rolando González, official of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Granma, highlighted the participation and stated that these worker staff should deepen in their programming spaces with the listener on this document to be submitted to Popular Consultation.

On the other hand, Alfredo Mendoza, head of department of the Provincial Committee of the Party, noted that it is the responsibility of the revolutionaries to vote for the Constitution on February 24th and then give continuity to the Magna Carta from its study, by citizens and in schools, to know and reaffirm our rights.
