The Academy of Sciences of Cuba, a prestigious institution that treasures the best of the scientific traditions of our country and which has gathered several of the most outstanding Cuban intellectuals, at the end of 2018 declared as members three researcher professors of the University of Granma.
Dr. Carlos Justo Bruzón Viltres was nominated as a Full Member and Dr.C Ibrahin Amhed León and Maikel Ortiz Bosch as Associates Young.
The Academy of Sciences of Cuba, to which three young researchers from the University of Granma are members since last year, is an advisory body attached to the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment.
The entity takes part decisively in the design and implementation of policies for the scientific development of the country, so that to be a member of it is a honor, not only in the personal, but above all, in the institutional, while to be awarded by this institution is the highest recognition to a researcher.
