The people of Bayamo responded to the call once again and at the Historical Revolution Plaza, in the center of the city, they reaffirmed with their presence that Granma is gearing up to celebrate July 26th, National Rebellion Day.

It was a special evening, a space to recognize collectives such as the 1868 Public Library, which celebrates its 55 anniversary, and the Wax Museum, the only one of its type in Cuba, for its 15 anniversary.

For this reason, the member of the Central Committee and First Secretary of the Party in Granma, Federico Hernández, and Yanetsy Terry Gutiérrez, vice president of the Provincial Assembly of People’s Power, handed out recognitions to both groups.

In that square adorned with the Cuban and July 26 flags, and for a people dressing in red and black in its changing rooms, spoke precise and measured, the young Marcos Cedeño, student of the Mártires de Girón Pre-University of Bayamo.

With decision he referred the motivations that animate them these days, and the commitment to make Granma for More a concept of work and development.

For her part, Teresa Pérez Trinchet, Provincial Director of Education, summoned the workers of the sector and everyone, to work hard in this last stage, to celebrate with better results the 66 anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks.

Education in Granma is one of those entities that contributes with their work, three consecutive highlighted school years, and for this good results will held the national central act for the Educator Day on December.
