Announcers, director, journalist and other workers of the radio from all over the province took part, this Wednesday in the assembly of annual balance of the radio in Granma during 2018.
The assembly started with a homage to the recently deceased announcer of Manzanillo Maximiliano Enrique Rivero Bertot.
The meeting was held at the hall of the provincial committee of the Cuban Communist Party in this city of Bayamo, where the achievements and deficiencies of the media in its role of informing and entertaining were discussed, as well as the improving of the staff.
During the debate, the journalist David Rodriguez, emphasized the need to show more the people life and work in the journalistic spaces, while in the music programming of the stations the quality authors and singers should be fostering more.
The theme of the music that is broadcast in the local and national station was one of the most analyzed in the assembly and about this Onelio Castillo Corderí General Director of the radio said, it is necessary to increase the effort to achieve an adequate musical diffusion.
This is not a whim because music is current one of the subversive issues against Cuba, and also in such musical discourse are spreading paradigms and models of a consumer society, which are not the icons for the youth that we have to possess, he stated.
Castillo Corderí also emphasized on the work on the Internet and the creation of content must be improved, which is the responsibility of all workers of the Cuban radio.
In the assembly the general director of the radio recognized the stability of the Human Resources, Economy and Technique departments in the territory, which are references for the rest of the country.
During the assembly of the annual balance, the workers Miguel Francisco Arro Carbonell and Aldo Juan Muñoz Perez were awarded with the Raul Gomez García distinction.
The CMKX Radio Bayamo provincial station, as well as the journalist Raciel Perez Martinez and Rafaela Reyes Fonseca, Deputy Director of Economic and Carlos Medina Hernández, chief engineer of the radio system in Granma, also received recognition for their work.
