The summer activities ended, but September comes loaded with several musical proposals for the public of Granma, with the presentation of orchestras as part of tours through the province, according to Lisandra Hechavarría Hidalgo, communicator of the Music Trading Company.

She noted that the renowned troubadour Raúl Torres, from Bayamo and author of songs such as Cabalgando con Fidel, will be presented at the Memorial dedicated to José Martí in the municipality of Jiguaní, on September 6 at nine o’clock at night.

The presentation of the Ignacio Piñeiro National Septet, for the 90th anniversary of its foundation, is another option for the cities of Bayamo and Manzanillo, in which the Septet will be presented on the 11th  and 12th , at the Trova House and the Central Park of the city, respectively.

Hechavarría Hidalgo highlighted that the Schola Cantorum Coralina Choir, led by the Maestra Alina Orraca, will perform on September 15 at the gallery of the municipality of Jiguaní, and on the 16th at seven in the evening at the San Salvador de Bayamo´s Cathedral.

She added that the Estraño Corazón Rock group will perform on September 18th, at 9 pm at the Pergola, a space located in front of the Hermanos Saíz Association headquarter, in the National Monument city.

Besides this activities, the usual spaces proposed by the Sindo Garay Music and Shows Trading Company are added, consisting of presentations by local groups in different places and public squares, the communicator of that institution pointed out.
