The Cuban songwriter Raúl Paz closed the 28th International Book Fair Granma 2019, with a concert at the Plaza de la Revolution of the Monument City.
The closing of the event also included the performance of Liras Bayamesas guitar orchestra, the troubadour Richard Gómez and the important criterion of writers who participated in the festival of letters.
During the closing ceremony Reynaldo Aquiles Duret said “the Book Fair of Bayamo, Granma, is always a celebration of social exchange of experiences, the individuality of the writer becomes plural in each space where you enjoy good readings, excellent poetry and praiseworthy troubadour music”,
The fairs will always be culture for our people, said Felix Sanchez, Alejo Carpentier Prize.
The International Book Fair Granma 2019 took place from March 7 to 10, as a space that reaffirms the importance of reading, exchanges and knowledge dissemination through several activities that took place.
In the context of the Book Fair, singer-songwriter Raúl Paz offered two concerts at the Plaza de la Revolución, the first on Friday night, dedicated to women in his day, and the latter at the close of the event on the evening of this Sunday, in which he brought part of his most recent musical production to the audience.
