The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raul Castro, presided over the 10th Plenary Session of this organization, in which issues of current importance on the country were discussed, the national press reported Saturday.
In addition, the main elements that characterize the new Electoral Law were analyzed.
These issues will be widely debated this weekend in the sessions of the National Assembly of People’s Power and our people will receive a detailed explanation, the report indicates.
The second secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, and other members of the Political Bureau also participated in the meeting.
