From February 11 to 22, National Knowledge Contest of primary, high school and pre-university teaching are conducting in Granma, a process in which the province expect to remain among the most outstanding in the country.

According to Maira Mendoza, Head of the basic secondary education in Granma, said that the 15 students qualified by subject of the primary level, are taking the exams at the Rubén Bravo Álvarez Pedagogical School.

Maira Mendoza explained that the national knowledge contests of Secondary School take place in several schools of the province with high academic performance students of all municipalities.

Also the qualified students for the national contests of the High School, take the exams these days at the Silberto Álvarez Aroche pre-university  vocational institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE).

The Head of the Basic Secondary Department in Granma highlighted the planned work for the methodological preparation of the teachers, who are in charge of the training of these high performance students.

She also stressed that these students received differentiated training in their schools and complementary activities, related to the subjects for which they compete.

She stressed that the province expects to be among the most outstanding in the country in this process of national knowledge contests and maintain the results achieved in previous school year.
