With the ceremony of the flags at the Plaza de la Revolucion of Bayamo, the highest political and governmental authorities of Granma started the tribute to Cuban fathers.
Floral wreaths were laid at the monument of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Father of the Motherland and the bust of Perucho Figueredo, author of the Cuban National Anthem.
On Sunday Federico Hernández Hernández, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Granma, he congratulated on Radio Bayamo broadcast all Cuban fathers and called on them to continue working and contributing to the province, venue of the central activities for July 26th .
The higher political leader along with Manuel Santiago Sobrino Martínez, president of the provincial Assembly of the People´s Power and other leaders of the Party, the Government and the political and mass organizations, visited the necropolis of Bayamo.
AT this place they verified the assurances for the Father´s Day and they knew how it was guaranteed, for the day, the flowers, candles for sale as well as the foods in restaurants and recreational centers and the transportation through the omnibuses and trains.
