In this regard the deputy to the National Assembly and president of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in the province of Granma, Yaquelin Puebla Lachel, told to Radio Bayamo.

The farmers of Granma, the 36 thousand peasants associated in the 327 organizations, have discussed the call of the National Bureau, related to the participation along with the family to exercise their vote this February 24th   ,   she said.

In all the municipal branches this call for support the constitution was ratified. ¨I vote Yes¨ to ratify the constitution it was the unanimous decision of the Granma peasant, she stated.

First, because we have many reasons to vote this February 24th, we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution last January 1st, and also we are celebrating this year the 60 anniversary of the singing of the first Agrarian Reform Law, by the Commander Fidel Castro Ruz in La Plata, she noted.

Therefore always faithful to Fidel, to Raul and to our dear President Diaz-Canel Bermúdez, the peasants of Granma will say yes for the Revolution.

In the recently concluded year, Granma over fulfilled several production plans, such as in the rice sectors, in the production of honey, the swine production, the delivery of milk and the production of tubers and vegetables, she added.

The president of the ANAP said that the sowing of sugarcane and tobacco in the sector is fulfilled and they are working to achieve better results this year.
