The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will be received today in this capital by Miguel Diaz-Canel, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, as part of the visit program of their British Royal Highnesses.
Before, the guests will visit heritage areas of Old Havana where they will learn about the conservation actions and activities that are carried out to celebrate the 500 years of the city.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Havana this Sunday and were received at the José Martí International Airport by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Teresita González.
The visit of the members of the British royal family is part of a tour of several Caribbean islands, although their presence in Cuba will be the most extensive and the only official one.
This fact ratifies the path undertaken in recent years by the United Kingdom and Cuba to deepen political dialogue between the two countries and strengthen bilateral relations in all areas.
