The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel, received on Tuesday the Prime Minister of Belize, the Right Honorable Dean Oliver Barrow, who is making an official visit to Cuba.
In a cordial atmosphere, the leaders exchanged views on the good state of bilateral relations and agreed on the will to continue strengthening them. They also discussed issues of interest on the regional and international agendas.
Lou-Anne Burns Martínez, ambassador to Havana, accompanied the distinguished visitor,.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, MINREX Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, and Ambassador to Belize Lissette Pérez Pérez participated.
