In a total complicity among musicians and audience, the concert of David Blanco´s band took place on Thursday night at the Plaza de Fiestas of the Bayamo city, in salute to the Ninth Congress of the Federation of University Students (FEU).
The presentation was part of the ¨Vida Libre¨ tour that the versatile artist performs all over the country and started on June 4 in the city of Guantánamo.
Before an university students audience, the composer and guitarist also performed well-known songs from his repertoire such as ¨Una y otra vez¨, ¨Voy a parar el tiempo¨, ¨Fiesta¨ and ¨Mueve la pachanga¨, among others of his latest album, titled as the tour.
“It has been a very nice news since we received the invitation the possibility of bringing our music to all university students, said the musician.
“It is such an honor for me because the university students celebrate their Ninth Congress, because in these 95 years they have been accustomed to raising their voices and these meeting with all the Cuban audience throughout the island is a blessing,” said David Blanco.
About the opportunity to come back to this province said “Granma is a very Cuban land with many things to offer us as a group that we love to be like this close to each people in this country.”
The Vida Libre tour will continue today in Holguin, tomorrow in Las Tunas and 11 in Camagüey.
Then, the tour will continue through the central and western regions of our country to conclude with a great concert on June 29 on the steps of the University of Havana.
