President Miguel Diaz-Canel is following on Wednesday the session of the United Nations General Assembly on the blockade imposed by the United States on his country from the Cuban Embassy in Paris
On his Twitter, he posted, ‘In transit to the Federative Republic of Russia, we share with our diplomats in France another Cuban fight against the blockade. Most of the world’s governments say: #NoMasBloqueo #UnblockCuba #SomosCuba’.
The head of State was received by French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe at the Matignon Palace, where they shared a working lunch.
The stopover in Paris precedes a tour that Diaz-Canel will make with official visits to Russia, China, Vietnam, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Laos.
The tour will be take place from November 1 to 12, during which he will meet the highest state and government authorities in those nations, with whom he will exchange viewpoints on bilateral issues and will discuss international matters of common interest.
