Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez called on the unity to strengthen the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and also condemned the US blockade against Cuba.
In addition, the Cuban president called on an alignment for the No to exclusion, and Yes to inclusion, No to hatred, Yes to solidarity, No to the global control by powerful nations, Yes to true freedom and democratization of the UN and international relations.
Only the unit will be able to save us, said the Cuban president, who recalled that he arrived in Baku after traveling over 11,300 kilometers, breaking the blockade which in recent months has brutally escalated.
Díaz-Canel thanked the Non-Aligned Movement for its historic stance against the US blockade imposed for more than five decades on our country and the Helms-Burton Act.
Such a criminal policy is the major drawback to our development, but it is also an disrespect expression by the United States for the human rights of the Cuban people, International Law and free trade.(PL)
