Cubans are remembering this Friday the birthdays of the general of the Liberating Army, Antonio Maceo (174 years old) and the Argentine Commander Ernesto Che Guevara (91), following the example of patriotism and anti-imperialism bequeathed by these two men.
Several historians describe him as a master of military tactics, and it is estimated he participated in more than 600 combat actions against Spanish colonialism, among which are about 200 battles of great significance.
