Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez affirmed on Monday on Twitter that the island”s government has never allowed or will allow the preparation of terrorist acts against any State.
Previously, on the same digital platform, Rodriguez assured that Cuba is against terrorism and war, in defense of peace.
‘With the moral principles of being a victim of state terrorism for decades and an impeccable record, we condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever their motives may be,’ the Foreign Minister said.
The president of Colombia, Ivan Duque, attributed to the National Liberation Army (ELN) the authorship of the attack in the General Santander Cadet School in Bogota, after which he asked to reactivate the arrest warrants against the guerrilla negotiators.
Through its foreign ministry, Cuba responded that it will act with strict respect to the Peace Dialogue Protocols signed between the Government of Colombia and the ELN, including the Protocol in Case of Breakdown of the Negotiation.
On Saturday, the Colombian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba demanded Duque’s government to not to carry out actions that endanger bilateral relations.
