The coffee producers of Granma have ratified their commitment to continue growing in the volumes they sell to the state of the Oro modality, with the greatest possible quality in this type of grain.
Alexander Rojas Pérez, provincial delegate of the Agriculture in the province, explained that even though the plan for the campaign is 1,310 tons, they expect to exceed that figure, which also represents growth compared to the previous harvest.
Today, as a result of the weather, the ripening in the coffee plantations of all the municipalities of Granma involved in the production is increased and measures are taken to guarantee the collection with a minimum fuel consumption.
The delegate of Agriculture in the province explained that all companies have achieved compliance with their production plans so far.
Buey Arriba, Guisa and Bartolomé Masó, in that order, are the largest coffee producers in the province, while Pilón, Campechuela and Media Luna, grouped in the integral Granma company, fill out the list of the territories that provide the coffee production. (By: Rafael Traba Bordón)
