The Bayart Craft Fair has now opened in Bayamo, capital of the Cuban province of Granma, as a prelude to the Fiesta de la Cubania, with proposals by creators from Havana, Holguin, Las Tunas and the host territory.
The event, organized by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets of the province, is held at the Raquel González Pioneers´ Palace, space that hosts the expo sale of footwear, handmade jewellery and textiles, belonging to over twenty artisans.
Until the next October 20th the expo will be open, which in this occasion celebrates the National Culture Day, the 40 anniversary of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, and 150 of the beginning of the struggles for independence in the country.
