Several labor groups and workers of culture in Granma were recognized this Thursday on the activities in greeting on July 26th.
At the ceremony, held at the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Birthplace Museum, the tribute to the effort and commitment to art for years took place.
On this occasion ten collectives of Granma received the distinguished condition at the national level.
Among the entities, labor groups awarded are the CMKX Radio Bayamo Provincial station, the Guerrilla de Teatreros, the Cuban Association of Artisan Artists, Arturo Jorge and his Tradition Quartet, the Gulfo Vision Local Chanel and the Fíverson Orchestra.
Also, the Professional Choir of Bayamo, the Wax Museum, the Museum of the Workers’ Struggles, of Manzanillo; the EGREM Company of Recordings and Musical Editions, as well as the Juana Moreno Sociocultural Project.
At the ceremony, more than 30 workers from the culture sector with more than 20 and 25 years of work received the Raúl Gómez García distinction.
The award ceremony was presided over by Nereida López Labrada, general secretary of the National Trade Union of Cultural Workers who highlighted the work of the members of the union. (Liuba Mustelier Ramírez)
