With the will to think as a country and to be united for Cuba, the second process of accountability reports by People’s Power Municipal Assembly delegates to their electors, began on Tuesday in Granma.

Although some meetings had been delayed due to the rains, others achieved a successful development, with creativity, alternatives, collective thinking, discipline and motivations were revealed.

More than 6 thousand assemblies will be held in the province in the course of this accountability process, which in Granma extends until November 30.

This will be a right time for delegates to provide updated information to their electors, and the rich exchange with the masses will be set up, which always provides proposals for a better future.

According to the indications of the direction of the provincial Assembly of the People´s Power of Granma, the preparation of the delegate is decisive for the successful development of the process.

The current problems, the aggressive blockade of the United States against our country, and the firm position of Cubans to overcome the hard difficulties, are issues that have a necessary space for exchange in the neighborhood.

The first meeting of the accountability process was held on Tuesday night in El Datil rural neighborhood of Bayamo, where concepts such as that to never surrender, which are linked to the Cubans´ idiosyncrasy were reaffirmed.

Conducted by its delegate Rafael Enrique Carbonell, who has been representing the community for more than 20 years, the meeting of the area 2, District 82 of El Datil at the number seven popular council of Bayamo was held.

It was a meeting characterized by combativeness, support of the Revolution, faith in victory and the strengthening of unity.

Among the results highlighted in the meeting were the power of convocation of the delegate, who achieved 96 percent attendance of those registered in the electoral register, and the timely information of his administration, although there are dissatisfactions due to the situation on the road, or the difficulties of the water supply.

Wilber Jerez Milanés, member of the provincial bureau of the Party, said it was a disciplined assembly, in support of the Revolution, socialism and leadership of the country, but above all an example of unity. (By: Marisela Presa Sagué / PHOTOS: Luis C. Palacios Leyva)
